me neither :) and this time, nothing in the world is going to keep me from seeing you. how the hell long has it been? i go down into the college store here, and theres a huge display of rothko posters and i think of that time when we were little when my mom came to pick me up at your house and she was like "hey, is that a...real...rothko...ohhhh....gotcha." that was embarrassing.

and updates to my end must be had on: health, conversion stuff, family :)

hello! no worries about the delay - i know how many comments lj's been eating of late. i hope your applications are going well. *g*

thank you very much! it was definitely relief to finish, and i was thrilled to get my dissertation back with some feedback from the markers. and i don't mind your asking at all (does anyone not want to talk about their work? *g*). i wrote my dissertation on three elizabethan/jacobean roman plays - shakespeare's julius caesar, coriolanus, and ben jonson's sejanus - exploring male bonds and the development of masculine identity within a political framework of republican versus imperial rome. (the abstract is here if you're really curious.)

wherever you end up, i wish you the best of luck!
