If you are still in York, I know which man you mean. I even have a photo of him. All this means that I am now very, very nostalgic. The last time I've seen him, he was playing the main theme from The Piano and it was so, so beautiful.

i am still in york - im doing my MA at the centre for medieval studies this year. how much time have you spent here? i know, i love the piano guy, hes so lovely and unexpected.

That sounds absolutely lovely. I envy you so much. I spent 4 very happy months there, on a scholarship in York St John. I loved it, and I think there is no better place to do Medieval Studies. The magic is quite obvious.
