I love John`s POV.I really like the nickname "the kid". So good. And when he blushed? Cute.My favourite sentence is:
"I feel like I need to apologize for him. Which is crazy as hell because I don’t even apologize for myself." That is my perfect John. Thanks for writing it.

I can't see John blushing very often but praise by someone he cares about might just do it.

Lovely story.
I like the idea that John was brilliant at point. That would go a long way to making him a good hunter.
You always manage to give some really good insights into the characters in even your shortest story.

Loved it! As you were/are on a break of writing I decided to go and read all your stories again. (and they are even better the second or third time around.) Just the other day I read no Jacked required. So this was perfect.
I love how we get to see a side of John that we don't normally see. John Winchester does not answer to just anyone, so it was interesting seeing him in this kind of relationship. I LOL when he blushed. It was just so adorable.
I don't have to tell you how much I love your writing, and i really enjoyed this little gem.

I agree with you about John not answering to anyone. My own personal thought is he could give a shit less but...changing that up a bit in this particular case was fun.

Blushing John makes me all hot and bothered. But so does grumpy growling John.
