Title: Six Times a Charm
Characters: Sam, Adam, Dean and John
Summary: This was a prompt from someone but it has been SO long I forgot who it was. Adam gets sick of getting his butt roasted. Part one today and then hopefully part two tonight! Glad to be back in the saddle!

The story's pretty good so far, but a whipping with a switch on the bare seems a bit harsh, considering what it was for. Unless they're going to talk about it properly later?

Glad you like! Whipping with a switch is a little rough but in my head Dean only gives him a few stripes, not a long drawn out thing. I think talking about it would be a good idea but the truth is Adam is aware of what he has done, which is why he got his ass handed to him. Hopefully it will make sense in the end. Out of interest, how do you think the boys would react if they were punished for something they genuinely hadn't done? How would the spanker react as well?

touches on that a little bit. Not exactly but it is along those lines. Still, I think I may write it. It would be an interesting dynamic. I think that it might go one of a few ways.
1. The spanker feels a little bad but figures something like...Sorry I whacked you but I'm sure you've done something to deserve it that I never caught! The spankee could shrug it off and maybe consider using it as ammo for the next time.
2. The spanker feels really horrible. The kid takes advantage of it to the point where maybe SOMEBODY else spanks him for being a turd.
3. The spanker feels bad. The spankee feels bad and everything sucks until they talk about it.

I'm sure there is a few more ways but those are off the top of my head.

Just came home from a trip to London and I see... THIS!
So good to see you are back to writing. I missed your writig. Please tell me there is a Jamie and River storie in the future.
I reread all of them.
But now to this storie. Poor adam, he is having a bad few weeks. But he is a winchester, he will find that out soon enough.
No off to read part two.

Hope all went well in London! I need to write, it makes me happy. I now have a new job that has more sensible hours so I'm hoping that will help make a difference. Yes, I'm working on a Jamie and River fic...so good to hear from you.

I've been away from the comm. for a bit but I was so excited see a new post from you! I have always enjoyed your writing and I am glad you are trying it again. :)

This story was so 'you'! I feel you capture the spirit of your characters so well! But poor Adam, he needs to learn quickly that there is a certain expectation that comes with being a Winchester and the sooner he accepts that the better off he'll be.

Thanks Ashley...it's been a rough year but I hope I can get back in the swing of things. (No pun intended for the poor Winchester boys.) I'm glad the story feels like "Me" I've been struggling so much that I'm not even sure how to write! But I guess I was able to do it some way. Thanks so much for reading and commenting.
