Soft and gooey makes me happy. I think I have a thing for hair-ruffling. It's so cute and dad-like. Plus I think that the boy getting the ruffle feels good even if he doesn't want to feel that way. Fluff. Fluff. Fluff.
That was so wonderful. I particularly liked the first chapter where Ben was musing about Dean. And when Dean turned up at the principal's office and called Ben "my boy" made me go all mushy. Beautifully written as always
That's the whole point of the story I guess. That Ben wants and needs Dean. Dean wants and needs Ben too which is why Show really disappointed me with how they ended things. I would love to see Ben come back in Season 11. It could happen!
You are so good in writing the father-Son dynamics. I always liked Dean and Ben, but not Lisa so much. Dean coming to get Ben was great. Ben really does not know Dean that good yet does he. Complaining about the painting was not smart. I also liked that that dean was not sure how to handel it at first. But the best was the end. So sweet and so fluffy. The perfect remedy for a bad work day.
Glad I made your rough day a little better. I think that Dean is a work in progress as a Dad. He's likes the BBQ and the breaksfasts but he knows that taking care of a kid is more than that. I'm glad you like the father-son stuff. I love writing it that's for sure!
