Well, that was just fantastic. I'd rewatch that scene, but the Super Bowl is on my TV right now, not that I care, clearly, because here I am commenting. I think it's tough to writer really legit reasons for beatdowns like this. Sure, the show gave the reason, but you embellished nicely. Thanks so much. I hope the show gives us more stories like that for us to embellish!
That's what I hope too. Show give us the premise and then we run with it. I re-watched that scene too many times. The Super Bowl irritated me so I'm watching the Puppy Bowl! I did like the half time show though.
Even the Ravens aren't playin' I don't really care.
I could not care less about football, even if I am a New Englander. I'm sure that's blasphemy to someone somewhere. But Katie was indeed cool.
I just stated watching Salem on Netflix so I wish I could turn to that, but that would mean leaving my bed where I am forced to hear the game because the husband is watching. So I come here and let my imagination run wild instead. I think I'll go see what else I missed since I've been too busy recently to catch up to the stories here. Looking forward to YOUR next inspired tale.
Just read all of it in one go. Oh Dean you never know when to shut up. I am impressed with John. He really was quite patient. I can imagine him being not impressed with the song that was on the radio. Made me laugh.Poor sammy beeing drag into it. The end was how real Winchesters look at new york. You should write one were Dean and Sam take Jamie and River to New York. You know history always repeats itself.
Only praise can come out of my mouth. My favorite plots are those taken out from the episodes so I don`t need to tell you that your fic is fantastic. I especially love when John put Dean in a corner after a spanking without a hug or without "I forgive and forget" because I think that is more realistic that way. Both of them were still pissed and I don`t think Dean would want comfort in that moment from his dad. Only after , in the corner when he thought over what he did, what he told John , he realized that his dad was right and he was wrong. And John made a good move going to get breakfast so he could cool off. I can imagine the fear he felt when he realize that Dean was gone.
I agree with you. For a lot of folks, they love the resolution of "I forgive and forget" trope that floats around, but I don't buy it. Sometimes, it DOES feel right but often I think that both parties are to upset to say that. John had already told Dean he loved him, and Dean knows that anyway.
Yeah, I can't imagine how anyone would feel upon waking up in NYC and realizing your 15 year old was gone.
I also love the ideas that come directly from an ep. It makes everything more plausible. Plus filling in the blanks is fun.
Thanks so much for your always insightful comments.

There could be the discussion of what happened before (which is always fun) then River and Jamie get into some kind of hot mess in the Big Apple.
