One of Minako's closest friends from Iwatodai. Only... not. When Minako arrived in Death City, Fuuka had no idea who she was, claiming that the leader of S.E.E.S in her home world had been a boy called Minato.
Cue confusion.
Despite the awkward and somewhat rocky start, Minako's found it just as easy to make friends with Fuuka again as she did the first time she met her, and their relationship is comfortable, if not quite what it was in Minako's Iwatodai. In fact, they've even started up a cooking club in Death City together! ... Whether this is a good idea or not is still to be decided.

The boy who's living practically the same life as her in an alternate Iwatodai - the one Fuuka's from. In a way, Minako wanted to dislike Minato a little bit. Finding out someone out there not only shares your role in a world, but also replaces you in the memories of some of your friends was a rather bitter truth to have to swallow. As it turned out though, she found herself warming up to Minato rather easily. They may share roles, friends and abilities, but they aren't clones of each other. They're unique and different, with a few similar traits and somehow that made things easier to deal with.
Minako thinks Minato's a bit too laid back sometimes, and kinda lazy, but she enjoys talking with him nonetheless. Having someone who can relate to your fears and worries is a nice thing to have, and she appreciates being able to talk about her worries about her friends, or what happened after sealing Nyx with someone who understands as well as she does.
They are both skilled with monorails, too.

Shinjiro is the only person in Death City who is actually from Minako's home world, and remembers her as the leader of SEES.
Relief in familiar faces aside, Minako's feelings for Shinjiro are simple enough. To be blunt: she loves him. She even told him so back home, but then things just got... complicated. Two days later, Shinjiro's in a coma and she's left feeling... a lot of things really. The more time she spends around him now, the less of a worry her old issues become, but she hasn't found the time or courage to bring any of them up with him; let alone tell him her feelings all over again.
At least, that was how things were until Junpei put his foot in it and let Minako and Minato's fate slip in front of Shinjiro. He confronted Minako about the truth over the network, and they ended up talking about everything face to face. It may have been a less than ideal situation, but it ended up forcing the two of them to confront whatever it was they were hesitating over. Minako still hasn't told Shinjiro directly that she loves him, or that she told him this back on Port Island. Really though, it doesn't need saying. It's pretty obvious.

"And thus a new legend was born - one of how a pair of twins took the youths of Iwatodai by storm and left nothing but painful, heartbroken tales and a severe lack of food in the city."
Once again, this Junpei is not the Junpei she knows from back home. Unlike the last Junpei she met though, Minako has found rebuilding her friendship with this alternate version of her best friend almost seamless. There are still moments where things are a little confusing, or uncomfortable, but Minako feels glad she's gotten a second chance to spend time with him in Death City.
She doesn't know that Shinjiro made a point to tell Junpei of his close friendship with Minako back in their world, and make him promise not to say anything to hurt her... but it all worked out of the best really. She doesn't feel too distanced from her friend, and enjoys getting the chance to hang out with him and experience that bit of home she really couldn't help but miss.

Rei and Minako first met at work. Following their employment at the Deadly Pretty Maid Cafe, Minako insisted they went out for ice cream and a chat to get to know each other. Since then, Minako considers Rei to be perhaps her best (female) friend outside of her home world.
She and Rei have both been fairly open about their situations in their home worlds and that openess has led to a level of comfort that means Minako finds it easy and enjoyable to tease and laugh with Rei. Rei was willing to talk about how Minako reminded her of her friend and assistant Mayu, and about her deceased fiancé Yuu, as well as her experiences with spirits and her camera. In turn, Minako was willing to talk about SEES, Personas and the Dark Hour, given that Rei has experiences with the supernatural.
Given her experiences with losing someone dear to her though, Minako hasn't spoken about what will happen when she goes home. As far as she's concerned, there's no need for her to spring something like that on her friend.

Minako and Phoenix started talking not long after Phoenix arrived in Death City. Apparently, Minako reminded Phoenix somewhat of his daughter, and the two have had a comfortable friendship from the beginning. In a way, Phoenix is something of a surrogate father/brother figure for Minako; she worries about him like she would her closest friends and probably how she would have worried about her parents. Especially since he was kidnapped only a few weeks after they met. Having Phoenix suddenly vanish like that was rather jarring for Minako, and his breakdown soon after his return scared her quite a bit, leaving her fairly on edge for the rest of the day. In her own way, she feels oddly protective of Phoenix.
Recently, Phoenix came to her with a request. Following a rather disastrous mission in which his partner Edgeworth was badly injured, he asked for a temporary partnership with her, so he could train and get stronger without putting Edgeworth at risk. Whilst initially reluctant to resonate with someone who already had a partnership, Minako eventually agreed once Phoenix promised to let Edgeworth know about it sooner rather than later. With her battle experience, Minako was hopefully less likely to get as injured as Edgeworth.

Outside of other members of SEES, Souji is probably Minako's best (male) friend. The two hit it off pretty easily, especially when the connection of coming from the same world, albeit difference times, and being able to summon Persona. With both of them being Fools, and having the Wild Card ability they bonded more over discussions about the Velvet Room, Igor and his assistants and the differences between their summoning methods. They share a similar wavelength, and it feels a lot like they've known each other far longer than they actually have.
Souji also took over the creation and running of SEES Death City, which was admittedly stagnating and going no where under Minato's unwillingness to lead this particular, the previous Junpei's disappearance and Minako generally not know what SEES Death City was supposed to do. He's come up with some good ideas, and Minako has offered to help out as best she can now she has some idea what is going on. Since Yosuke Hanamura was sent home, Souji has asked Minako to step in as his second in command.
On 1st November, Minako became the first victim of an attack by the possessed!Souji. She was fairly badly beaten, embarrassingly so, and ended up in the hospital overnight after a long and danger trek to the clinic with the help of Jade Harley. Following passing out in the lobby, she was given a blood transfusion and luckily released the next day in the afternoon. It was around this time, in hospital, that Souji became the first person Minako told about what awaited her back home in Iwatodai. He revealed he knew she was hiding something during his possessed attack, so she made the decision to tell him the truth.
