Not only does JJ Abrams have a new series coming this fall, he has cast one of my favorite actors in it.

This makes me insanely happy. Add in "haunted and emotionally crippled" and it's almost more than I can stand. :D

Looks an interesting premise, I intend to give the show a go and hope it's good. Not got much sci-fi amongst the shows I watch atm, mainly due to not being into the fantasy side of the genre (with the exceptions of LOTR and Narnia) and struggling to find anything that looks like the sort of sci-fi I'd enjoy! *missing stargate-type shows badly*

This one looks like it'll hit my angst requirement, plus I like detective shows, plus it has a sci-fi element with the android and being set in the future... could be right up my street!

Ooh! I've been generally uninterested in most of the new cop-type shows coming out lately (I'm especially disappointed that the preview for "Graceland" - the new Jeff Eastin show - looks so incredibly blah, because I really love how he handles characters, but wow did the preview fail to excite my interest), but this looks intriguing and I love Karl Urban, too. I hope it gets picked up!

I'm still on the fence about Graceland. While I agree with your assessment, I really like a couple of the actors in it (I saw the guy who's playing the lead on Broadway a couple of years ago).

The thought of seeing Karl Urban on my screen EVERY WEEK makes me giddy. :D

Oooohhh. Color me intrigued :D I love Karl Urban *but eyes Fox and their rather poor track record when it comes to keeping interesting shows warily*

You are so right about Fox. Hopefully this will get a good time slot and having JJ Abrams involved will attract a lot of viewers.

I like the sound of this show! And yeah, I like Karl Urban too! :D

The premise of this show sounds a bit like Asimov's "I, Robot" (the book, not the movie with Will Smith that came nowhere close to as satisfying as the book). I LOVE everything Asimov did, so I'm totally intrigued by anything that even remotely sounds similar... Can't wait for this!
