I Feel Sexy?

One of the things I was joking about in recovery was the "sexy hospital panties" I woke up wearing.

The intense pain I was told I'd feel, is at the same level I was at before, it's just "different". I was three hours late with my meds this morning because I stayed in bed a while, so I think it will be tolerable once they kick in.

Oh how the net knickers take me back! I used them to hold the dressings in place when my Caesarean wound broke down - and spent almost my whole working life showing people how to use them and the assorted pads that they are designed to hold in place!

Did your nurses tell you they are much more comfortable (as well as holding any pads in place better) if you ease them up into your normal knicker line rather than leaving them as if they are boy shorts?
