The sky is deep, the sky is dark,
The light of stars is so damn stark.
When I look up, I fill with fear.
If all we have is what lies here,
this lonely world, this troubled place,

Hi,
Did you write this poem? It is very beautiful. I guess that's the way everyone feels at times when God seems far away. It's so strange that we would feel that, since He is the One who loves us most and the One who never forsakes us, but I, too, doubt Him sometimes. That is just human nature.
Are you a writer, then? I would like to see some of your poems. Have you posted some before? Sorry; this is the first time I've really seen your livejournal. I stumbled upon your name on my friends' list and wanted to say hi.
God bless you,
Rachel

LoL ... Rachel this is Josh's (Baby's) Mom ... the poem is from "The Book of Counted Sorrows" by Dean Koontz. In the beggining of every book he writes he has a epitaph. He always claimed they came from "The Book of Counted Sorrows" ... There was no such book ... Koontz made it up ... since he has had so many letters from fans he has now made a book compliled of all his different Epitaphs.
