This is just an entertaining piece of fluff that's been cluttering up my brain for long enough. I guess it could be classed as AU!AU. I have shamelessly stolen Annie Proulx's wonderful originals and used them as an excuse for a little self-indulgence. Feedback, as ever, is always welcome.

AU means Alternate Universe. :)
