Just a quick response to recent events. It's not especially original but it made me feel better to write it.

This was a wonderful tribute. I would not be surprised if someone welcomed Heath to Heaven and I know that man is looking after his girl from the other side

This is so sweet and poignant! I love the suggestion of Heath living on in people's imaginations, communicating with them in any number of ways. So apt and so true. This tale can also serve nicely as a sort of comment on Jake's behalf, since I can imagine him in some way "communicating" to his dear friend through Jack.
