Woah. That is fascinatingly confusing. I love the comparisons, the seemless sliding between realities and the metaphors. Excellent work :)

It looked like someone had taken a lady future predator, introduced it to a gentlemanly megopteran, turned on the mood lighting, put on the Frank Sinatra, then realized that’s not how nature worked and smashed the two together with a baseball bat and a prayer

Great description! The whole fic is very vivid and totally heartbreaking. Very nicely done indeed :)

oooh, this fic is excellent. Creepy, twisty, confusing, but very well done, epecially the slipping from one reality to the other. Meep, poor Connor!
