I loved the detail of Nathan having to ask for money for funnel cakes and then pocketing the change. Also, Nathan thinks teh gay is icky but he's grossed out by catching a guy-Charles with a woman? I sense some internal conflict here.

Nathan seems pretty, er... mutable when it comes to strong opinions about stuff. It was more a callback to him being grossed out by cunnilingus than grossed out by het. I'm sure he enjoys the latter just fine... though he probably doesn't want to walk in on Charles doing it.

But my writer's brain does love the subject of sexuality. And I do have several different flavors of Ofdenson handy for this fic. I'm bound to throw some internal conflict in there.

Yes, Charlie is married to a female Nathan. Which she hinted at to Nathan. He didn't catch on, though - and probably won't unless he meets her.

I knew when Charlie said Nathan (or whatever the girl!Nathan's name is) got married I knew it would be to her, so I wasn't surprised there. But you're an awful bitch for not writing what Nathan has to say to that. Does this mean our guy Nathan and guy Charles are going to get married? I'm usually like, "romance is laaaame." But I have a soft girly spot for Nathan/Charles being married. But in all seriousness, I do hope your life cheers up.

I do try to warn slash fans about het. I know shippers can be kind of... particular.

And, lol, I do have the conversation that follows Nathan's initial shell shock. It was just running long, so that seemed like a good place to cut off. Things will pretty much pick up right there in the next chapter.

I actually do ship het, I'm just really pairing particular. I don't like Abigale for some reason. I have no explanation as to why. If it was like, anyone else, I probably would have been like, lololol. OMG, Skiwisgaar's mom! That's an ew ew ew lolololol moment. I feel dirty for thinking that.

As a character, I like Abigail fine. My problem with her was from a narrative standpoint. They switched to an 11 minute format and decided to introduce a new character that they spent a lot of time on but ultimately gave nothing meaningful to do. WTF?

I'm pretty carefree about shipping. I generally have a favorite pairing in a fandom (N/C for Metalocalypse :D) but can be easily convinced to read or write just about anything else. I'm the kind of fan that thrives in kink memes.
