so I'm packing and going through the keepsake stuff and for digital posterity want to transcribe this journal entry I just found (in a very ugly-looking notebook, by the way -- it has a paint-splatter design, and I think it was a gift. Surely I'd never pick out something so gross looking for myself, even 14 years ago

I remember this other one I used to have, it was very small and came with a little lock and key. ah, memories.

the next entry talks about how I wished "Nick" and/or "Jeremy" would have a crush on me and ask me out, as well as declaring my frustration with my "biological clock."

Haha, that's cute...an "oopsy"

I was searching for a set of photos the other day when I came across all of my former diaries and a song lyrics writing book (from when I thought I was so poetic and angsty and would become famous). I was seriously cracking up reading my first diary ever, in which I was about 12 years old. It can be fun to look back at these things. Although the later diaries just made me relive some frustrating stuff.

it's awesome to have parts of your life documented like that.
now I just like typing so much better, and it's so much faster, I hardly ever use the paper journal I have...it might take another 5 years for it to be full, but it's pretty, so I keep it anyway.
