I've come to realize and accept that if I insist on doing a picspam for every single one I will NEVER get through this meme. So I may come back later and do picspams for them, but it is so annoying doing graphics on my laptop, and it makes me not want to bother.

Okay, so I know I shouldn't keeping cheating with these ties. And honestly if I have to pick one it's got to be Don't Rain On My Parade, if only because I think that song is so much more difficult even than people realize, and it takes so much out of you. Lea and Rachel both have this effusive, inexhaustible quality to their performing, and it takes my breath away.
Chris' performance of Rose's Turn also completely awed me, because it beautifully showed his impressive vocal ability - a tight, flawless vibrato on Berry, belting and power I didn't even know he had, and most of all, the same thing that I love about Lea: so, so much emotion. It seemed like it was being torn out of him, as opposed to Lea, who seemed to be bursting with it, and both conveyed it so perfectly.
Polar opposite emotions, but both scenes made me choke up and sent chills all over me. Both were stunning performances, and I really wish Rose's Turn had been longer. We hear so little of Kurt/Chris. =( I do hope Chris gets the chance to sing Don't Cry For Me Argentina like he wants to - I think they could easily work it into the storyline, and it would be lovely with his voice.
