Went to a party thrown by beergoat and kneel_b4_zod. I had a pretty good time. Tried a christmas beer made by bigdaddydonut which was pretty good. Played a little Ikaruga with a person I met at the party. Then we played SSBM and I thumped him mightily. However, we were both friendly about it, I didn't scream in victory or anything, and he maintained a sense of humor about it

I'm being domestic while m'Lady's at work. She's doing retail these days, you see. I'l see if she's in the mood to head over after work.

Also, I'm partial to Appleton's Estate Rum in Egg nog. mmmmmmm.

That's the kind of rum I use in it, too! I tell you man, crockpot or saucepan at low heat is your nog's friend...

hmmm... this is the sound of me being intrigued. I've never warmed my nog before. Do you warm it with the rum in it, or add the rum to the warmed nog?

How much do you warm it? Warm to the touch, mildly ouchy, simmering? I must know!

We'll get together and I'll show you. But you should warm it with the rum in it, add nutmeg (I'd grate my own), and put it at about mildly ouchy. mmm-hmm
