tfic_contest Christmas requests - Jolt/Sideswipe - don't look back. This fic is short and sweet. And sadly lacking in smut.
Feedback makes friends. Flames dealt with by the masters of paranoia and fire, Red Alert and Inferno.
"Come on."
"But..."
"But nothing. This is going to be the last chance we get for a while." That sealed it. Jolt hurried after Sideswipe. The warrior grinned as the smaller blue mech caught up with him.
"Where are we going?"
"You know that shed on the edge of the compound? We won't be disturbed there." Jolt nodded. They'd used the shed before - it seemed that they always had to sneak around now. Prime didn't want them traumatising their human allies. Just because Epps had come across them once and thought that they were fighting... It really wasn't their fault.
"Don't look back." Sideswipe hissed at Jolt. Despite Sideswipe's warning, or perhaps because of it, Jolt glanced over his shoulder. Ratchet and Ironhide were behind them.
"... eep!"
"I told you not to look back!" Grabbing hold of Jolt's hand, Sideswipe raced ahead before letting go and transforming, pealing out towards the shed.
Ironhide shook his head. "Do they really think that we don't know what they're doing?"
"Well at least they're going somewhere private." Ratchet mused. Master Sergeant Epps' questions were quite awkward to answer."
