October 28 - incognito
He’d spent much of his life not getting close to anyone, disguising his true origins. A mech incognito. Everyone loved the commoner; the mech who was ready to get into the thick of things with a smile on his face. The mech who befriended the estranged noble that no one else seemed to want to talk to.
“Will you ever tell them?”
“What’s the point?” Hound answered Mirage’s question with another. Mirage had seen through his charade, easily recognising the gestures and habits borne of noble origin.
“Because they’re your friends and you’ve been deceiving them.”
“Have I really though?”
