I wish you so much luck! I recommend you stalk the HR person and/or anyone else influential. Do the follow-up calling, emailing, and generally eager checking in. Better to be remembered as annoying than not be noticed at all, as I always say.

Thanks, muffin. And I totally did, but the company (who I probably can't and shouldn't name just yet) told me in more or less these exact words to just address it to HR. Long story short, it's a big company, and gets a LOT of applications.
And ohmigoodness, yes please. I would LOOOVE some feedback, as I am paranoid and have a very poor sense of what is "statement of fact" vs "generalization" vs "bragging".
