Thank Gods!

Finals are all over. I had five of them in less than three days. This is not recommended. I also went to go see The Golden Compass on Friday night. It was awesome, and there will probably be a more thorough post about it later ( Read more... )

Hell is indeed over, at least for the next six weeks. I'm looking forward to nice, restful, cookie-filled holidays, and hope yours are the same. :D

Me too! It's very exciting, but kind of scary at the same time.

Yeah, re-reading the book before hand might have helped, but I honestly had no time. I brought it with me to read here, though. But yes, discussion must be had.

Hey you! So I'm having a little trouble getting ahold of you via cell phone, and I figure you're pretty busy with the hols and all, but we should maybe start coordinating this whole inter-state simultaneous LotR marathon thing. My house only has the regular versions, and I forgot to bring mine with me, so we'll have to do non-extended anyway.

I'll be in RI until the thirtieth or something, and obviously I can't do anything on New Year' Eve, but anytime in January before the 11th (when I come back) is good. You?

ALSO. Did you see the Christmas episode? It made my heart happy. Except my dad was sitting there watching it with me so I couldn't squee and shout "OMG BOYS! OMG SHOW! OMG EPIC LOVE STORY OF SAM AND DEAN!!!" without initiating a conversation I very much wanted to avoid.

Yeah, my phone doesn't do very well around here, unfortunately, although I did see that you had called. And yeah, they just have the regular versions here, too.

I leave on January 5th, so anytime before then, or we can do it when I'm back in AZ, too. Although I will be working a lot then.

No. I figured the Christmas episode would be, you know, around Christmas. Like, that week. I didn't even know about it until I saw people posting about it in LJ, and still haven't downloaded it yet.

Um, in other news, the Suns are doing well. We beat San Antonio, which is awesome, but lost to Dallas, but only 108-105, which is better than it could have been. Also, Steve got his tooth chipped playing against Utah because somebody elbowed him in the face. It's all fixed now, though. Seriously, he looked like he was about six years old and should be shooting a Jif commercial or something. He's so adorkable.

OH MY GOD. I just had this huge, overwhleming onslaught of Steve-and-Suns-love. I can totally picture him doing a Jiff commerical and fitting in completely even though he is a full-grown adult.

Anyway, I think it would be cooler to do the marathon while we're still all scattered in various states so maybe sometime between Jan. 1st and 5th. We'll have to get in touch with Floyd and figure that out I guess; I can do it since your phone is iffy.

Sidenote: I have been rewatching Firefly. There is so much love, Shannon, it makes me extremely sad that they canceled that show.

OMG, he should totally do one! It would be, like, the most awesome thing ever! Gods, I love Steve so much. And the Suns in general. They just make me so happy. :D

Yeah, the marathon would be better if we're all in different states. Just let me know when is good for Floyd; pretty much anything should work for me.

Man, I miss Firefly so much. I haven't seen it since, like, when Andrew lived with us, I think. They need to bring it back, though. They really do. I have been introducing my mom to Doctor Who while I've been here. And my grandmother watched an episode of Torchwood with me when it was randomly on BBCAmerica and like one in the morning. She really likes it.
