The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed. Well let's see.

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicise those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.

Hm, well, I'm waaaay too lazy to go through the formatting thing, but I think I'm at more than six and less than thirty-six, lol. There are a few things on there, though, th at I think I really need to read. So someday, maybe I'll catch up, lol.

And how did you get through school without reading Lord of the Flies?

And do the Reader's Digest condensed versions count, cuz David Copperfield is one long mother...

I don't know. I also made it all the way through without having to read "To Kill a Mockingbird." I read that on my own. Many many times. But oh my god, they couldn't stop forcing Dickens on me. Why? Why?!

I would say so. I mean, I read an abridged version of Les Mis, also for school, but I liked that one.
