Wow, kids losing skills over the summer is no joke. West is currently struggling to copy the thank you card notes I pre-wrote out for him. Like, all he has to do is look at what I wrote and literally just copy every letter, and it's like pulling teeth over here. We're back from Summer Vacation #3 (#1 was a week in Maryland in July, #2 was a couple of nights in a cabin in Maine last weekend). The drive home from New York always leaves me feeling so much more drained than the drive there.
