aaaaa! also eeeee, I've been waiting for this and am so excited you posted, but aaaaa! I really really liked the whole thing with the Dai Li here - that they would try to talk to them, their reasons for collaborating, that they've been sparing them, and then - aaa! did not see that coming! Zuko and the rubble and the scroll case - lovely moment, so sad.

Also, aaaaaaa!

Diplomacy! Politics! Heroics! Brown paper packages tied up with string! Those are a few of my favorite things~♪

Wait, that got weird right there. Anyway, it is awesome to see Zuko and Jet working as a team in times of crisis, and also Iroh being serene (mornings should be savored... such an Iroh line!), and Pakku faux-Earthbending for practice. I like the Dai Li motivations there, and how Quan only warned them at the last minute. Shows some internal struggle on his part there.

It took me forever to actually get to read this because I discovered it just before I had to go to work, but gosh <3 I just love the way you write them, I got through the whole stupid day because I knew I had this waiting for me at home.
