Most of my more recent summer memories involve being at Haverford in the apartments for the summer, living with my friends, cooking simple chicken dishes every night, getting paid for not doing a lot of work, etc. etc. etc. I had some great summers at Haverford, and I really missed it this year.
I grok. Aside from the apartments bit. I had the demesne Robinson to myself for the better part of two months last summer, and during this time it turned into something of an unstated flophouse for a few friends whenever I didn't feel like just bolting up the place and entertaining a far superior sort of guest. Of that, what I really miss is waking up to a house full of people watching a movie at 8 in the morning, having already dealt with the animals and such, leaving me free to catch a ride up to campus much later than usual.
