Within a few moments, Liz had rolled out of bed and climbed up to her girlfriend. She gently - though still firmer than she realized - shook the girl in an attempt to wake her up from whatever nightmare she was facing.

As Liz tried to shake her awake, Kate's eyes did open but she still cried as if being put through the most frightening experience possible. Blue eyes remained unfocused, not really looking at anything but rather appearing as if she were entranced, lost in a daze. Not sure what else she could do, Liz lay beside her girlfriend and wrapped her arms tightly around her. She hushed and hummed and spoke gently to her distraught, terrified girlfriend while one hand ran through Katelyn's hair. Gentle kisses were placed on the girl's cheek, sweet words were whispered in her ear. Liz used everything in her arsenal to try and calm Katelyn down from her terrifying nightmare. But it seemed that Katelyn didn't hear her or was not aware of her presence. Despite all of that, Liz kept trying and hoped that Kate would calm down soon, so she could tell her what was wrong.
((OOC: I guess Liz will bruise Kate a bit with that tight hug... since she is much more stronger now. XD;))
