Having taken the form of a bluejay, Katelyn flew high above the St. Catherine's grounds in the warm afternoon breeze. It was a beautiful day, and the view from her vantage point was spectacular

Having completed two laps around the jogging track that encircled the campus, Utena had drawn even with the Slayer training field when she paused to jog in place. The pink-haired Slayer had been pushing herself at a moderate pace, but she was feeling more energetic than usual this afternoon and the idea of stepping up her workout was very appealing.
Eyeing the break in the shrubbery behind the practice field, she left the smooth dirt path and jogged into the underbrush, leaping over bushes and fallen branches, flying across the uneven ground, her hair streaming behind her in a pink banner.
Minutes passed, and she noticed that she had gone beyond anything familiar, moving into new territory. Ahead, she spied a glimmer of sunlight on water, and with a grin, she altered her path just slightly to carry her to whatever lake, pond, or body of water might be awaiting her.
As a Druid, Katelyn almost always had animal companions nearby, but especially so when she was unarmed. With her enchanted twin daggers lying near her clothing so far away, she relied on a hawk sitting atop a nearby tree to serve as her lookout

Utena nearly stumbled with surprise when she heard her name called out in a familiar voice, and she slowed her pace as she reached the small lake, coming to a stop on the muddy bank. Katelyn was standing in the crystal clear water, naked as the day she was born and seemingly completely unaware of the fact.
She averted her eyes with a blush, carefully not looking at her friend.
"Katelyn! What are you doing- I'm jogging."
Flustered, she shoved her hands in the pockets of her jogging pants and shifted her weight from one foot to another.
"I am, washing clothes, and taking a bath." Katelyn spoke to her friend calmly, not knowing what else to say. Her own presence seemed simple enough to explain, and to her it seemed more out of place seeing another girl so far away from the comforts of campus life. "I have, never seen anyone jogging here before. It is difficult ground for most to cross..."
Noticing Utena's awkward looks and the way she refused to make eye contact, Katelyn began to wade to the side of the pond. She pulled her upper body onto a large, flat rock along the bank and tried to peer around and look at the girl despite how she turned her head. She rested her chin in her hands, propping herself up by the elbows as she curiously watched the pink-haired prince. Not sure what was wrong, Katelyn tried to cheer her classmate up instead. "It is, a beautiful day. Would you like to swim, instead of running through the trees and bushes?"
Utena jerked as Katelyn's fingers wandered towards her thighs. She blinked, looking at her friend, and she suddenly came back to herself.
No, no, I can't take advantage of her, she's my friend...
Looking down at Katelyn, she pressed a chaste kiss to her cheek.
"That was wonderful, but I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I have to go..."
Moving with Slayer quickness, she turned and ran, stopping only long enough to grab her clothes. When she was out of sight of the pond, she paused long enough to shimmy into her clothes then ran back to the dorm, locking herself in the bathroom, knowing it was the only place she would be guaranteed some privacy.
What have I done? she thought as she huddled on the cold tile floor. I took advantage of my friend...that's not Princely at all!
Katelyn stood there in silence, not able to understand the Prince's sudden change in attitude. "That was...wonderful," she quietly repeated as the words began to sink in. Submerged up to her chest, she watched as the older girl virtually leaped from the water, snatching her jogging clothes before darting off naked into the woods. Her quiet voice called out to her, saying "Please...don't go...", but it was to no avail.
Now alone in the woods, with the afternoon sun hanging low in the sky, she idly floated on her back for a while, staring blanky up at the clouds above her as she tried to figure out just exactly what happened. I, I hope I was not wrong, but she said it was wonderful, yes? And that she was the one sorry...but she did nothing?Katelyn was not hurt or even upset, though she certainly did not want Utena to leave when and how she did. She was however confused, and slightly disapointed at having to end their fun little game early for whatever reason. But she also felt strangely good, both because of the pleasures that she had
