We had another ice storm yesterday. I think that's the fourth time this winter that it has literally rained ice--not hail, not sleet--I suppose it could be called freezing rain, but that somehow doesn't do it justice. Oh, and on a side note: Do you and Aaron refer to Athena and I as "Michael and Athena" as you did in this post, or "Athena and Michael"? I have this theory of how people say couples names and it has nothing to do with whom they've known longer or who's the male/female. Let me know so I can confirm my hypothesis.

Umm... I think I mostly say Michael and Athena; like, 75% of the time. It flows off the tongue (well, off the fingertips, I suppose) better, in my opinion. I think Aaron's more like 50/50 on how he says it. Does that help?

Cashmere is tricky, no that's not right, cashmere is expensive. Kaleidoscope yarns has some good choices. If cashmere is too expensive I recommend Suri alpaca or regular alpaca. Both are very soft and not so itchy as regular wool. But it'll depend on what size yarn the hat needs anyway...
