Runner in Training

I am so excited. I just signed up for a Women's Running Clinic that is for beginning runners to work together to run a 5K. I have had a goal of running a 5 K for a long time and though I am in pretty good shape, on my own I am too lazy to force myself to run 3 miles straight. I get bored (and tired) after the first mile or so. I am hoping this ( Read more... )

This is so awesome. I totally want to run a 5k but its so hard to motivate myself to run. A training group is such a good idea.

You will have to post your workouts....Ill try to follow along too. =)

I will post my workouts. That might motivate me even more :) you might search the internet for a Women's Running Clinic in your area. The idea is to obviously get women running but to provide a way for women to run at night and be safe also.
It is very hard to motivate yourself to run isn't it? I am not sure why - but I know if the people from The Biggest Loser can do it, there is no reason I can't!

You can do it girl! You are a bad ass! And I would love to come some...I am going to have to get my butt in gear and start walking again and get myself back into shape. It's always that first 2 weeks that is the hardest. I am ready for this weather to be better again! I will talk to ya tomorrow girl!
