I injured my knee far more than I thought I had at first and refused to rest it the way I should have. I plan to lay off it this weekend. Hopefully, it will be fully healed in time for the next set of matches. I don't want to skip practices, but I don't think I should put any more pressure on it. Please let me know your thoughts.

Better to take the time to heal than have it grow worse.

Thank you. I'll pick up balls like a freshman or whatever you want me to do until the knee's good to go again.

I was stupid to push it.

Have you had it looked at professionally yet?

That is something I know well myself.

Not yet. The infirmary wasn't much help. They suggested rest, which I could have prescribed myself. *smiles* Only, I didn't.

I'll look up sports medicine specialists in Kyoto if it doesn't start to improve. I also asked Inui to help me develop a program to strengthen my knees. I injured the other one last year.
