Jack Handey was a bit on SNL, where they played short commercial-type segments called "Deep Thoughts", with Phil Hartman reading one of these over tranquil footage, like baby ducks on a pond.

Oh wait, I think Hartman just read the "Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey" part to introduce the segment. Somebody else read the deep thought (perhaps Handey himself).
