A university student was shot last weekend. Killed. He was a foot ball player and he was in a class of mine last semester. He was actually in my group. He didn't come to class much, but when he did, he turned in this really well done comic book drawing of a scene in Frakenstein.

It is sad. Very sad.

I had a couple friends of mine die, when I was in the military. Nature of the beast, I suppose..but some comicbook scribbling college dude didn't deserve it.

But, when you think about it, it sort of puts a lot of people...a lot of things...in to perspective. All of a sudden, their shit isn't worth the trouble.

It's all about you, man. For what time you've got left, you have to make yourself happy. Now is as good a time to start as anyway, i'd wager.
