I for one am sick of everyone bitching about Bush. Do you have his job? No. Is his job easy? No. And is he in any of it alone? No. Any decision he makes has to be supported by a bazillion people before he can act on anything. And who's to say that if 9/11 happened while Clinton was in office that he would have handled everything differently? For all we know, Clinton would have done everything the same way, as Kerry might have. Sorry this is such a long reply, but people are driving me crazy!

at least kerry wouldn't have lead america downthe shit whole. lets look at what he's down. and just because he's giving milatry pay raises? wtf. see its all about money. when we become like a third world nation, i'll know who to thank, and whenlary goes over to iraq, i'll make sure i thank bush for getting him involved in a needless war.

it's not so much that we're going to become a third world nation, but we're going to become a christian-fundamentalism-conservative nation. we could end up as bad as pakistan, but with christianity instead of islam. i wouldn't put it past bush if he called iraq a holy war... all in the name of democracy, of course.

I understand what you're saying, my brother just got out of the army. But you know what? Lary didn't join because he had to. There wasn't a draft, he wasn't forced. It was his own choice, just like all the other guys over there right now. I would have been devastated if my brother died over there, but if he had, I would have known it was where he wanted to be at the time and he was doing something he wanted to do.

Also, 1 person cannot change the direction of over a billion. Americans are leading themselves down the shithole. A president cannot change a person's integrity or their beliefs. We are all so set on playing the blame game that we're losing sight of what it's like to take responsibility for ourselves, to be the best individual we can be, and to better the world starting with ourselves.
