I remember going through that with my grandmother... It was so worrying and she refused to use the medical alert thingy we were paying for when she had falls (because she "didn't want to be a bother"). I'm so glad to hear your mom actually saw somebody for her injury and didn't just try to tough it out.
Hi! This has been a while. I guess I can relate to your mom, somewhat. I never smoked, but I'm on oxygen too. They thought it was COPD, but now they're saying it's Interstitial Lung Disease (which means all they know is I can't get enough oxygen in my lungs.) I haven't been able to draw for a long time, but suddenly a couple weeks ago, it all came roaring back. I've been finishing old commissions like crazy.
Getting old is weird. Plus, you start losing people you've known forever. Our housemate of 40 years just died in July, after a long illness.
Anyway, it's good to hear from you, and I hope things start looking up soon.
