So I'm going to update because i'm bored. Anyhow, life has been interesting. Last weekend I wen to the Minnesota NATS solo competition at SJU. I left Fargo on Thursday night and got there around 8:30pm. I checked in at the hotel with the rest of my group from NDSU and then I went over to SJU and visited Howie for awhile. Mike you are an amazing singer how did you not think you would at least make it to semi finals?

because my voice teacher told me from the get-go that I am not going to make finals just to hear other teachers opinions. So he was really proud when I made it into semifinals. I felt really solid though, I never really got nervous or shook really badly before I went up and sang, which I have a problem with ever since my vocal jazz audition. Atleast, I am finally over that.

Congrats on semi-finals! It's really wierd cause in WI we didn't even have semi-finals, you just sang and either made finals or didn't. Hope everything's going well!

Thanks! I think North Dakota NATS is that way, where you either make finals or not. But minnesota NATS is really big, so that is how they knock people out. How did you do?

I didn't make finals, but several other people from Viterbo did. I still thought I did pretty well. We gotta chill during Thanksgiving break!
