I made the decision a few hours ago that my LJ should be friends only. I know that my LJ is very entertaining (I think so anyway), so if you feel like you need to be added please feel free to let me know. Just to be clear, I am not taking anyone off my friends list.

Hi, we have some LJ friends in common, and I've seen you in mutual friends' LJs leaving entertaining comments. I'm trying to make new LJ friends. I wanted to know if it's OK to add you. All of my LJ is friends only because I'm paranoid that way (also due to my job). But I can tell you more about me: I'm 34, queer femme of color, living in NYC, work in social services (hence the locked LJ), write, blah blah blah.

i would like to be privy to your authentic negro experience with the rest of the lj world!!! if you let me read yours i'll let you read mine...'cept mine isn't of the negro persuasion...for what its worth...but its filled with lots of entertaining and sometimes depressing words, and always full of bits about shoes, gloss, flossing (the teeth not the lifestyle) and some social work theory thrown into to keep my reputation valid!!
