When all comes down to it
It doesn't really matter I guess
It's like a giant red button you hit
You scream it into the world
But it's not like someone actually cares
So we can leave that aside
We have no fatal wounds to hide
We're bleeding over each other all the time
To hide the fact that we have nothing to hide
Beauty comes without you asking for it
So you put on the Mad Hatter's colourful masc
And surely it should last for a while
But eventually all make-up comes off
To reveal what was so carefully screamed at the world
That we aren't completely sane and we never asked for it
