LOVE this film. I whimpered plenty when I saw this for the first time, hehe. :P

Battlestar as the shadow to Trek's light; so true. I also grew up on a solid diet of Trek (I used to joke that my kid brother thought Picard was a long lost uncle) but i agree, it just became a hollow parody of itself. It's no wonder so many Trekkies defected to the good ship Ron Moore. Anyway, I digress. Didn't make me cry but it was a decent film. Certainly compared to the previous instalments... Ooh, random aside. My writing partner met Simon Pegg like last week - he's here promoting some new movie. Totally jealous!

LoL - Picard & Crusher were the original space mommy & daddy! I'm trying to do a re-watch of Voyager, but I have to stop every few episodes because it just makes me cringe...
