I've been watching the news about this since yesterday...what a terrible tragedy. They have problems in Haiti when it rains hard, so it's like the last place on earth that'd be prepared to deal with an earthquake of that size. Very sad. :-(

That is just... when the news first broke I remember seeing something about an entire hospital collapsed. Now, as far as I can tell, we're getting the death toll of buildings before people, but if you assume a reasonable number of people in each building...

Those poor people. Hopefully the relief efforts get there quickly.

I borrowed money from my HELOC to give more than a little. This is the time to go into debt if one has to to help! (And if it means I don't get to go to RenCon in April, well worth it!)

I hope help comes swiftly to the people of Haiti. A friend visited Port-au-Prince a while back (where his famliy is from) and he said conditions there were very bad then, so they need all the help NOW that can reach them.

If you donate to Wyclef's charity, 100% of your funds go to disater relief.
