I am thinking of getting an iphone now that the older model is only $99 dollars. I was just wondering how much apps for the iphone run and if the phone rates are higher than a regular plan. So how do you guys like your iphones?

My plan, which was the lowest plan they let me be on, runs $75 a month. It includes unlimited data, however, which means I can web browse to my heart's content. Is that iPhone version not 3G? That makes a difference in internet speeds... mine (which is 3G) can, for example, stream Pandora.

Apps can be free or up to around $10, on average, depending on what they are. I've seen plenty for $1 or so, and you can just go through the free ones if you like. I do that a lot if I'm just looking for something entertaining.

And, I love my iPhone. Especially when the Internet at work goes down and I can't leave my desk in case IT calls.

Yes, it's still 3G and that's not much more than I'm paying now for a phone that's a pain in the ass to use the internet.
