Maybe not much of a dilemma to the rest of you

I've finished up here and am planning on leaving Kodiak tomorrow morning...weather permitting. It's supposed to be moderately windy until tomorrow afternoon, and a flight to a less-frequented location is in the schedule for the company I've been flying for these past few weeks. Ultimately, the safe side of myself (yes, that even exists flying in a place like AK) decided that it would be best to stick around and familiarize this other pilot with his destination.

In the end, the decision was made for me anyway--turns out that the flight I was planning to take off the island canceled.

...And of course, the high easterly winds from last night produced a swell that only a large ship would be able to negotiate, so this flight I stuck around to help out with was ultimately canceled as well.

Fun stuff.
