i dont know you, but yes the civil war raging in the Sudan is a travesty.though, it might be hard to collect info because of the lack ofmedia coverage (unless you use the BBC)

Well, the topic is something that needs greater public attention.
I imagine a lack of comprehensive media coverage will be accounted for by the subject of the assignment itself.

Besides - if you look, you can find out some of what's going on.
