*tilts her head* I could not agree more with that statement, if you do not mind my interjection.

Good leaders follow their people, I have found. However, one way or another, people find their way into power and follow no one but their own desires.

When you're in office, so much of your term is just taken up with trying to ensure you'll keep it at the next election. A President gets to govern for eighteen months, if he's lucky. I guess that's one of the other problems with power; once you have it, it's hard to give it up.

Some people don't deserve the power they hold, yet they have the popularity, while others have none but fear. Then there are those who have popularity and rightfully so, they do everything in their power to give every human and beast freedom.
