Freddie Lyons had, good as his word, had copies of the photographs sent to Alcuin. Though when they arrived he just stared at the unopened envelope for a moment before picking up his phone and dialing.

Hannibal replied that of course he ha dime. There was a sense of urgency in Alcuin's voice that indicated to him that what Kersey had called him about earlier, had arrived to the young man. Photographs. Explicit and troubling. He was very glad to be called.

He shifted the last appointment of the day and made his way to Alcuin's flat. "What happened?" He had no interest in letting Alcuin know he knew. He liked the young man's desperation and he loved holding him for support.

Alcuin let him in, moving to the table where he'd placed the envelope. "Freddie Lyons," he said quietly. "The reporter. Apparently someone sent him some pictures of me." He nodded to the envelope. "I, um. Haven't looked yet."

"And he sent them to you?" Hannibal asked, a frown on his face. "Do you know what they're of?"

Alcuin hesitated. "He only said that they were photographs of Anafiel and I, and that they were intimate and um, disturbing, and I don't know what that means... he doesn't know who sent them to him or why. And I don't know exactly what he plans to do with them though I asked him not to publish them."
