Three Auditors came past the cave, discussing quietly among themselves whether they should be categorizing rocks by size, shape, or degree of perceived value to humans.

Auditors were a lot of fun at parties.

Bruce didn't like the thought that anyone had made it into the cave. He really didn't like that he didn't recognize the people. He especially didn't like that they did it when he was in the cave.

This was a situation that required Bruce to think on his feet and come up with a foolproof plan.

"Can I help you?" he asked. Okay, that was just step one.

"Why do so many believe we require assistance?" Mr. Yellow complained, frowning (though he had not commanded the body to do so. Strange).

Ms. Saffron frowned too, hoping that no one had noticed she'd been hovering slightly.
