All in all, it had been a good night. Bruce had a very nice date, won the biggest crown of his high school career, received a strategic breakdown on how to fight beings with gravity powers (you never know when that might be useful), and afterwards... Well, poor Chuck was exiled somewhere but Bruce wasn't alone in the room

But he'd had it pretty well drilled into him that he needed to check in once in a while and his wallet hadn't made it through the portal anyhow. He reluctantly tapped on what he was fairly certain was his father's dorm room door.
"It's your kid," he called. "Give me $20 for breakfast and I'll let you go back to sleep."

"I was already awake," Bruce called back as he grabbed a robe and twenty dollars in case this checked out. He cracked the door open and peeked outside. He certainly looked like he could have been Bruce's. Tall, prominent chin, looked kind of sullen.
"This may sound crazy, but what's your name and who's your mother?" Bruce asked.

It was just by chance that of all the potentially empty dorm rooms to sneak into after picking the lock, he ended up choosing Bruce's.
And it wasn't until he was fully in the room that he saw people and realized his mistake. "Oh, I'm sorr... Hey, don't I know you?"
