While taking a quiz on OkCupid earlier (because I'm a huge dork who uses that site to take stupid little quizzes and view profiles of women who I'll probably never meet romantically for any number of reasons), I saw the following question:

Finding people to date post-college was a challenge for me. The best date I ever had was when mutual friends set us up on a blind date. It was also my last date, so I guess it worked out well!

I think there's a basic assumption that the question is asking what you do *in addition to* driving normally. If taken literally, your presumption would mean that driving at all would be impossible, as your hands wouldn't be on the steering wheel, and feet would not be on the pedals.

That said, I did a double-take when listening to some lousy FM station on the way through PA (sometimes I'll listen to FM just for grins). The announcer boomed, "It's time to shut your eyes and listen to the BEST classic rock!" Seeing as I was doing about 75 at the time, I decided not to take his advice...

I'm more puzzled by a past conversation with an old friend part. You can reflect on a past conversation but you can't exactly "notice" it.
