WAVE TWO:

GIANT AFRICAN MANTIS TYPE; Souryo.
[Navy Blue Preying Mantis, with a metallic body. The wings are made from several interlocking metal plates. A human torso and head comes out of the mantis chest, armless.]

Skills: Waiting for the right moment, faster than usual transformation.
Position: Door to door salesman, mid level homunculus experiment.
Personality notes: Souryo is a slimy 'used car salesman' type-he always has a friendly smile and joke ready, but its always delivered in a 'lets just get on with it' way. Even when hunting and killing, he keeps up his façade of being a friendly nice guy.
Ability notes: Developed more to test increased quality than for a specific ability, Souryo has no special powers-simply, he is a very strong, very fast giant preying mantis. The long reach of his arms makes up for his lack of projectiles, the tips can both stab and grip. His jumping ability is impressive (he can clear almost 100 metres in one jump). However, his large mantis eyes are very fragile. Most homunculi can transform in a few seconds. Souryo is much faster, switching forms in the time it takes most people to blink. Overall-too tough for a normal human without special weapons, no matter how skilled they are.
Feeding habits: Prefers women, will eat anyone.
Hunting style: Picks a target, waits until they're alone, and then attacks.
Chouno's Notes: 'A big improvement over the first ones. I'd say this one really shows the difference between humans and homunculi-that's a gap that can't be breached by effort alone. My next ones will be better though.'
Chouno transformed him because he kept visiting his room and annoying him.

TROPICAL PITCHER PLANT TYPE; Ampelio.
[Based on the Nepenthes izumiae. The human part wears the covering leaf like a hat, the entire body from the waist up visible, just above and behind the jug. Without legs, it hangs from ceilings and walls. Unlike the true plant, the vine splits into several smaller vines after attaching to something.]
Height; human form 4'8, homunculus form; 10' (vines can grow indefinitely based on available energy)
Weight; human form 25kg, homunculus form; 20kg
Birthday; April 15th (That Sucks day), age 19
Favourites: Perfumes, roses (he wishes he was a rose type)
Dislikes: Trash, anything that smells bad.
Interests: Games of strategy,

Position: Professional chess player, mid level homunculus experiment.
Personality notes: Ampelio is a careful planner, who never does anything unless he has at least three moves planned ahead. Generally calm and arrogant, he spends his time mocking his targets. His catchphrase is 'You're too late!' or 'It's too late!' If things don't go according to his plans, his composure cracks and he acts erratically.
Ability notes: Ampelio has very little direct combat ability. In close range, he can whip with his vines, but their strength is only comparable to a normal human with a baseball bat. His true power lies in the ability to release a mind altering scent into the air. This scent will cause a specific emotion, feeling or sensation to begin to increase until it completely overwhelms the target and they become lost in a hallucination, at which point he drags them back to his jug and eats them. For example, if the scent is increasing fear, the target will first be a little nervous, then paranoid, then begin to panic, finally become hysterical and then stop responding to outside stimuli, entering a coma like state. It's very good for multiple targets. The scent is released from flowers on the vines-but the further from the main body, the weaker it is. In close proximity, it takes ten minutes to succumb-double the time every time the distance is doubled for a good guide. The flowers created on the vine can be cut off and will function for a few days to create a weaker version of the effect.
Feeding habits: Anyone, as long as he has a plan.
Hunting style: Gauges his target's intelligence, then creates a vine length he thinks will be necessary.
Chouno's Notes: 'Ah, this one was made more to test special abilities rather than a strong body. It's quite strong, I think. It'll be good for dealing with the all brawn and no brain types.'
Chouno beat him at chess, and he refused to accept defeat. When he harassed him for a rematch, Chouno transformed him.

VEILED CHAMELEON TYPE; Bride.
[Based on the Veiled Chameleon. The human body part is, from the waist up, inside the mouth. The eyes feature zoom focuses, like cameras.]

Birthday; November 3rd (House Wife day), age 27
Favourites: Kindness (to her), being appreciated.

Skills: Nurse, gossiping (no one ever knows she's the source, but she spreads rumours that are always believed).
Position: Nurse, mid level homunculus experiment.
Personality notes: Bride is one of those people who seems to think the world owes them something. She only became a nurse so that people would treat her well and think she's a good person-she would have become a doctor, but didn't have the talent. She can never be happy for other people, and likes to rain on their parades.
Ability notes: Bride had her transformation power purposefully made difficult in order to make it possible for her to partially transform. This allows her to use her homunculi special abilities while still in a human size. However, her combat powers aren't any better than a normal human in that state.
Said abilities include, rather predictably, invisibility. She can only turn her outsides invisible, so the inside of her mouth and any wounds would be visible. Her transformation limitation also reduces the amount of energy her body uses, so when in the smaller size it is difficult to detect her.
Her eyes record anything she sees, and she can broadcast it later by transforming her casque into a TV screen.
When in the full sized form, her primary weapon is her tongue. It has a strong grip, and can easily crush a human in one blow. Because of this, she eats her prey in one gulp whilst remaining invisible.
Feeding habits: Anyone.
Hunting style: Impulsively picks targets and eats them.
Chouno's Notes: 'You can't just focus on combat, so this one was created for espionage and reconnaissance. The problem is that she keeps sneaking off to spy on whatever she thinks is interest. The problems are always with their minds, it seems.'

SPACE DRAGON SHINIGAMI TYPE; Ichigo.
[The full homunculi form is a massive, red Chinese dragon. The human head extends on a long flexible neck from the base of the throat.]

Birthday; May 18th (Uses the day Chouno created him, as he didn't have a concept of dates before then), age 0
Favourites: Being a part of things, Nakama, Chouno,

Interests: Homunculi, protecting the other homunculi.
Skills: Protecting others, growing stronger.
Position: Clone, special type homunculus experiment.
Personality notes: He retains almost the exact same personality as the original Ichigo, but at the same time, he is ultimately an animal. Specifically, as a pack animal he believes that there is a firm distinction between 'us' and 'them'. He doesn't hate 'them', but he values 'us' a lot more. If it were possible, he'd prefer to co-exist peacefully with others, but he realises that as long as homunculi want to eat humans, it's impossible. Unlike Ichigo, he has a vicious streak and will sometimes pull murderfaces that rival Chouno's own. He really hates Chouno for only thinking of himself, but at the same time, Chouno is the centre of his new family, and thus one of 'us.'
Ability notes: If you only look at Shinigami powers, he's stronger than a vice captain but weaker than a captain. But, if you combine that with his homuculi powers, he's an even match for a captain. He's stronger and faster than a shinigami of the same level would be, and of course, his regeneration is stronger than even the strongest hollows. In his full dragon form, his strength is monstrous, a one man disaster area.
He can partially transform, giving him a pair of large claws and fangs, as well as creating scaly armour over a targeted area just before he is hit.
He can breath fire, either in long streams or in fireballs.
He has a Zanpakutō hilt, but the blade is so tiny it can't even be seen.
Like Ichigo, he grows stronger very rapidly. In fact, he grows stronger much faster than Ichigo, and if facing opponents stronger than him, he starts to grow during the fight. However, he cannot use power beyond roughly 1.2 times the average captain for more than a minute or two or his body starts to become unstable. He then enters a coma like state and 'resets' back to his normal strength once he repairs himself, which depending on how much power he gained, could take days or even years.
Feeding habits: As it was never human, it has no cravings to eat humans. It wants to try it though, just in case. He wonders if maybe he wants to eat Shinigami or dragons, but the truth is his cravings are for candy hearts.
Hunting style: Doesn't hunt.
Chouno's Notes: 'Even though he has a really annoying personality, if you only look at combat ability, he's my best work. I'd wanted to do something about the face, but there wasn't much time to experiment. Oh well-no one will know, because anyone that see's his face will be killed by him anyway. I just wish he wasn't such a hypocrite, but I guess wherever you go, there will be people like that.'
One of the space dragons that attacked the Thor was crippled and unable to leave with the rest. Placed in the zoo, it spent its days crying out for its pack, but they would never be close enough to hear him again. Chouno transformed it just to have a strong body.

WHITE RHINO TYPE; Cornelius.
[A rhino with a silvery purple sheen. The horn is shaped more like a curved sword than anything else, and where a rhino would normally be mostly rounded, he is more squared and straight. The outside thighs of the back legs have large vents on them.

Weight; human form 72kg, homunculus form; 5000kg
Birthday; September 20th (Punch Day), age 43
Favourites: Nothing.
Dislikes: Most things.
Interests: Just doing his job.
Skills: Impossible to cheer up.
Position: Nightwatchman at a shop, mid-high level homunculus experiment.
Personality notes: He is a very, very grumpy man who just wants to be left to his own devices. He took his job just so he wouldn't have to deal with anyone at work, and he has no social life at all. Getting a few words out of him is a great achievement, but he is quick to anger.
Ability notes: Not only having massive physical strength and speed, it also has a thick hide which can deflect most attacks. The vents on the back legs can be used to release powerful thrust, turning it into a rhino rocket. However, it cannot change direction easily. Its regeneration rate is half that of normal homunculi.
Feeding habits: Anyone it thinks won't be too much trouble.
Hunting style: Just charges in, smashes its target to death and then eats them.
Chouno's Notes: 'At least this one is quiet. It's a good mix of high power and special abilities, so it'll be the standard of my next ones.'
He bumped into Chouno when he was taking a walk and ended up shouting at him. Chouno didn't like that, and transformed him.
