we need to fix life, but to do so, we need to fix everyone else's lives that affect ours, and in turn affect theirs, hence the paradox.

For everyone to be happy, no one can be happy

"but how bill how do we do this"

we can't really. everyone is not happy because no one can be happy. Some of use are not happy for more than one person, allowing them ( Read more... )

well, there never was a time when we were happy, if we were we would have stopped, it is that unhappyness which is responsible for everything, everything we have discovered, acomplished, ever DONE has been because of unhappyness. The idea that whatever it is that will make us happy is out there that if we just look we will find it. THAT is what gave us what we have, and of course were not happy with it, if we were we would all just lay down and die. if your happy, you dnt need anything else, and if you dont need anything, you dont do anything, so you die. and even if you are happy it will be fleeting. because life keeps on happening. keep looking

I disagree, if we were truly happy, we'd spread it. We'd try to spread it, at least. If I found what made me happy, I'd cherish it. Married people don't just lay down and die....aren't they happy? Isn't that why they're married to eachother, because they found something that makes them happy?

well the marriage makes them happy, but only in one part of their lives, they might still be sad profesionally or in other parts of thier lives, marriage is not a cure-all and it dosnt make you happy all the time, it does not give them everything they need. it may make all of it easyer because that one thing makes you happy. it probably does

and usually when people try to spread happyness and joy people just get angry because they dont have it right away or they find it annoying, people have tried to spread happyness but it usually ends badly

I'm happy, I'm not always happy, but for the most part I am. I'm happy because even though I haven't become/seen/done/completed even a fraction of what I want to do, I know that it will happen someday,
cheer up
