Well, because this entry will be long and there's more than one topic I thought that I'd use the infamous lj-cuts and let you pick what you want to read about. So, here goes nothing!!
Ok, so as most of you know this past Saturday was my best friend Angie's wedding. It was absolutely B-E-A-UTIFUL!!! It was very simple and plain, which is the way that Angie and Jeremy are. They aren't complicated people. They are however awesome people!! William and I enjoyed it. He was a little annoyed that morning b/c he thought that he missed it, but as the day went on he loosened up. I was in the wedding and was nervous the entire time. There were many times when I was about to cry. At one point I had to stare up at the ceiling so that I wouldn't start crying. Angie looked absolutely beautiful. I am so happy for her and Jerm-T. I pray that you both have a wonderful time on your honeymoon. Don't forget to call me when you get back with a list of things that you got so I know what not to get you for your wedding present! Love ya girl! The reception was just as pretty. After the reception I was in charge of loading all the gifts into Angie's car and then taking the car to their apartment. Well even though they knew that I was takng Angie's car they rolled it in toilet paper just to be funny!!! Shannon and I had fun trying to get into the car b/c of the amount of toilet paper that they put on there made it hard to get the doors open!! But that was fun. So Shannon rode with me to take the gifts to the apartment and hang out with Angie, Jeremy, William, Ralph, Tessa, Cooper, Bethany, and Matt before Angie and Jeremy left for their honeymoon. It was a lot of fun.
So, after we all left the apartment we went back to the hotel to get changed and go get dinner. Myself and William, Shannon and Ralph, Tessa and Cooper all stayed at the same hotel. So we all went and got changed and then went to dinner next door at Applebee's. Just by showing our door keys we got 10% off our dinner tickets. After dinner we went and played in the pool. I was even able to get William to get in, and he doesn't usually like getting into the pool. After that we each went to our respective rooms for the rest of the night. The next morning before we left William sat down on the bed and asked me to come sit down next to him. (Warning, here comes the mushy stuff.) When I sat down next to him he looked me in the eyes and vowed to me that he loved me, devoted his life to me, and promised to be faithful to me and only to me. He also vowed to be my rock to lean on through all of the hard times and that he hoped I would accept these vows from him until the day that we are able to exchange vows in our own wedding ceremony. Ya'll it was so sweet that I cried and messed up my makeup. (yes I put on makeup that morning. I think that I might start wearing it more often.) I was taken by surprise and had no clue what to say in response to that. All I could say was that I accepted his vows to me. You all won't understand what it took for him to do that unless you know him. I still can't get over it. Ok, it's making me tear up now. Think that I'll stop on that note.
Ok. Hope that everyone is having a wonderful day. Now I need to go do what I'm almost always doing.....HOMEWORK!!!!
